Compiled Recipe – Beer and Cheese Fondue

Beer and Cheese Fondue

* 1 cup beer
* 400 grams cheddar cheese, grated
* 1 tbsp cornstarch
* 2 tsp dijon mustard
* 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
* ¼ tsp paprika
* ½ tsp salt
* pretzels (to serve)
* toasted bread (to serve)

1) Place beer in a heavy saucepan or fondue pot over medium high heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low.

2) Toss cheese with cornstarch in a medium bowl. Add cheese mixture to beer in 3 additions, stirring in a figure-eight pattern until completely melted.

3) Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and salt. Serve immediately with pretzels and toasted bread.
